Art abounds in and around Marshall.

This is the 4th annual of this particular show and will be featuring the work of our own local artists. This special juried show will feature original fiber works in concept and design. Artists 18 years and older, both amateur and professional, were eligible to enter.

The awards were given for – Best of Show, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, and the winners will be announced soon. You have plenty of time to go and witness this amazing work. The show is on until September 9 and can be seen during the gallery’s regular business hours, Tue.10-1, Wed. 10-1, Thur. 10-4:30, Sat. 10-1.

The expert Juror for this exhibit is artist Jamie Willis who taught art in public schools for 30 years. Her art expertise is particularly in weaving and watercolor work; her art is found in private and public collections. She has taught and studied fiber art and quilting since 1986, and the Gaslight is thrilled to have her as the expert for this juried exhibit.
