For the Lovers of Band Music…

Every Friday night in July (and August), you can bring your camp chair and the whole family to hear The Marshall City Band. We are so proud to have this fantastic band right here in Marshall.

If you want to cross the border into our neighboring Indiana, Terre Haute offers music concerts of every kind. Here are two very different concerts worth the drive.

For the Rockers in the Crowd:

The Hairbangers Ball

Where: Vigo County Fairgrounds

3901 S US Hwy 41, Terre Haute, Indiana

When: Sat, Jul 10, 7 – 10 PM

All right, all you Gen-Xers. This is your chance to blow dry the big hair and break out the leg warmers, parachute pants, and headbands for this show. The Hairbangers Ball dresses the part like the iconic glam metal bands of the ‘80’s to take you back to the concert days of Guns and Roses, Mötley Crüe, and Poison. The singers will get out into the crowd and encourage you to participate in the headbanging and hair swinging. Bring the younger family members who never got to experience the concerts of the 1980s. The band formed in 2001 and has become a super popular cover band playing as close to note for note the music of the bands they cover. They are booked all over the Midwest so, if 80’s rock is your jam, get to the show!

The Hairbangers Ball will take the stage at 6:30 with opening musician Nic Strain. Get ready to have your hair blow back when you attend this show.

Tickets are only $10 and can be bought on Eventbritehttps://www.eventbrite.com/e/hairbangers-ball-tickets-161016714327.
